Blackstone Square and Franklin Square are laid out

They are located at 1535 Washington Street. The park is redesigned by Bulfinch as a single oval known as Columbia Square in 1825 and separated in 1847. Twin fountains are installed in 1849. After many years of being out of order, the fountain in Blackstone Square is returned to working order on August 12, 2013.
